Calculating Inventory Levels
Calculate inventory levels to update Purchase Lead Time, Safety Stock Level, Reorder Point, and Preferred Stock Level for eligible item-locations.
You can run the calculation manually or schedule it with Day of Week To Perform Calculation and Time of Day to Perform Calculation. This schedule is separate from the Inventory Optimization segmentation schedule.
Calculations use item-location demand history, lead-time history, service level, demand variability, and Preferred Stock Level Days.
Planning calculations are always at the item-location level.
Before you run the calculation, verify that segmentation is current unless service levels are manually overridden. A missing service level can cause the Inventory Optimization run to fail.
To calculate inventory levels:

Go to Transactions > Inventory > Calculate Inventory Levels.
