  4. To show or hide the All Balance Quantity button in scanner flow, check the Enable the All Balance Quantity Button box

The All Balance Quantity button enables you to select the balance quantity as the default quantity when you enter a quantity during consumption and production reporting. Balance quantity is the work order quantity minus the reported quantity.

For more information, see Reporting Consumption or Reporting Production.

  5. To enable default real time build for work orders, check the Default Real Time Build for Work Orders box.

Manufacturing Mobile supports default real time build when you create work orders.

For more information, see Creating a Manufacturing Mobile Work Order.

  6. To record the start time and end time for WIP work order operation, check the Enable Start–Stop Feature for Work Order box.

This feature enables you to perform setup multiple times and run work for an operation and perform more than one operation at the same time at the same work center.

  8. To set your preferred mode of processing, select a number between 0 and 50 from the Maximum Number of Line Items for Synchronous Processing list.

When the total line items are less than or equal to 10, Manufacturing Mobile will initiate synchronous backend processing to update NetSuite core records. It may take some time for the processing to complete.

When the total line items are greater than 10, Manufacturing Mobile will initiate asynchronous backend processing to update NetSuite core records.

  9. Enter the number of days from today to be considered for past dated work orders to be listed in the scanner in the Past Work Orders Days to be shown field.

For example, setting the value to 30 includes work orders created within the past 30 days.

  10. To set backflush at the component level, check the Enable MM Backflush Feature box.

Manufacturing Mobile supports automated backflush for lot controlled items on a FEFO (First Expiry First Out) basis. For more information, see Backflush Logic.

  11. To enable a component with insufficient quantity in a staging bin for the work order to be processed, check the Build Even if Components are Insufficient During Backflush box.

For example, if the required quantity is 10 and the available quantity in the staging bin is 6 and you have checked this box, the build will be processed successfully. However, if you clear this box in this type of scenario, the build will fail in the backend. For more information, see Backflush Logic.

  12. Check the Enable Automated Backflush for Lotted Items box when your organization supports automated backflush for lot controlled items on a FEFO (First Expiry First Out) basis.

To disable automated backflush, clear the Automated Backflush for Lot Controlled Items box. If you disable this preference, you must report data through the scanner.
