Manufacturing Mobile Preferences
Administrators and production managers can define Manufacturing Mobile preferences at an account level with the Mfg Mobile – preferences record.
This record is automatically available in your account to configure the available preferences.
You can configure the following preferences:

Enable the All Balance Quantity Button – check this box to display the All Balance Quantity button in the Manufacturing Mobile scanner.
The All Balance Quantity button enables you to select the balance quantity as the default quantity when you enter a quantity during consumption and production reporting. Balance quantity is the work order quantity minus the reported quantity.

Default Real Time Build for Work Orders – check this box to enable default real time build for work orders.
Manufacturing Mobile supports default real time builds when you create work orders.

Enable Start–Stop Feature for Work Order – check this box to record the start time and end time for an operation of a WIP Work order.

This feature enables you to perform setup multiple times and run work for an operation.

You can perform more than one operation at the same time at the same work center.

Enable GS1 Barcode – check this box to enable Manufacturing Mobile to populate Lot and Serial numbers using GS1 barcodes.

Maximum Number of Line Items for Synchronous Processing – to set your preferred mode of processing select a number from 0 to 50 .

If the total line items are less than or equal to 10, the system will initiate synchronous backend processing to update NetSuite core records.

If the total line items are greater than 10, the system will initiate asynchronous backend processing to update NetSuite core records.

Past Work Orders Days to be shown – enter the number of days from today to be considered for past dated work orders to be listed in the scanner.
For example, if you set the value to 30 you include work orders created within the past 30 days. If you do not set this preference, the value is set to 90 by default.

Enable MMobile Backflush Feature – check this box to set backflush at the component level.
Manufacturing Mobile supports automated backflush for lot controlled items on a FEFO (First Expiry First Out) basis. For more information, see Backflush Logic.

Build Even if Components are Insufficient During Backflush – check this box to allow a component with insufficient quantity in a staging bin for work orders to be processed.
If you set this preference, you consume the quantity even if it is less than the quantity required to complete a work order. Otherwise, the build or completion fails in the backend. For more information, see Backflush Logic.

Enable Automated Backflush for Alloted Items – check this box when your organization issues lot items manually and these lot items cannot be backflushed.

Automatic Printing – check this box to enable automatic printing.

Enable Auto Lot Numbering – check this box to generate lot numbers in production from the Lot Numbering SuiteApp according to Lot Format. Before you can enable auto lot generation, you need to extend Edit permissions to the Mfg Mobile custom role.
To extend edit permissions to the Mfg Mobile role:

Go to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

Beside the Custom Mfg Mobile role you are working in, click Edit.

In the Role page Permissions subtab, click Lists.

Click the Documents and Files permission.
Set the Level to Edit.

Click the Items permission.
-
Set the Level to Edit or Full.
-
Click OK and then click Save,

Retain Last Lot Scanned After Adding Quantity – check this box to keep the last lot scanned after adding production quantity.
