Performance Management Permission Requirements
If you've enabled the Performance Management feature, there are two permissions that control access to goal and performance review information: Talent Administration and Talent Employee. Roles that have both of these permissions can:
-
Create metrics for tracking employee performance
-
View, inactivate, and delete employees’ goals
-
Create and manage performance review questions, rating scales, and templates
-
Create, schedule, and approve performance reviews
-
Edit, delete, and cancel performance reviews
The Talent Administration and Talent Employee permissions are automatically applied to the Chief People Officer and Human Resources Generalist roles, as well as customized versions of these standard roles. You will need to add both permissions to any other roles that need to have access to Performance Management features. .
Roles with just the Talent Employee permission, such as Employee Center, allow employees to work with their own performance reviews and goals, as well as those of their direct reports.
For a list of standard roles and their permissions, see Standard Roles Permissions Table. You can also create custom roles that include this permission. For more information, see Customizing or Creating NetSuite Roles.
