Updating Business Rules of Data Integrations in Embedded Mode

In Data Exchange, you must update certain data integrations to support your single currency application setup. Update the data integrations by registering and removing certain business rules. Perform these updates in Embedded mode. For more information about the Embedded mode, see the help topic Using Business Rules in the Oracle Help Center.

Perform the following data integration updates to support a single currency:

Updating BalSht_Trans Integration

From the BalSht_Trans data integration, remove the NFS_BS_Act_Calc business rule.

To update the business rules of data integrations:

  1. From the Planning and Budgeting Home page, click Application and then Data Exchange.

  2. Click the Data Integration tab.

  3. Under the Name column, click the link for BalSht_Trans.

    1. The Edit Integration: BalSht_Trans window appears. Click the Options tab.

    2. Click the Business Rules subtab.

    3. Click Embedded to expand the options.

    4. Select NFS_BS_Act_Calc, and then click the Delete icon Delete icon.

    5. Click Save.

Updating BalSht_Trans_SRC Integration

The following table lists the business rules to register to the BalSht_Trans_SRC data integration and the corresponding sequence values to set:

To update the business rules of data integrations:

  1. From the Planning and Budgeting Home page, click Application, and then click Data Exchange.

  2. Click the Data Integration tab.

  3. Under the Name column, click the link for BalSht_Trans_SRC.

    1. The Edit Integration: BalSht_Trans_SRC window appears. Click the Options tab.

    2. Click the Business Rules subtab.

    3. Register the business rules listed in the table, and enter the corresponding sequence values. To register a business rule in embedded mode:

      1. Click Embedded.

      2. Click the Add icon Add icon.

      3. Under Name, enter the name of the business rule to run.

      4. For Sequence, enter a number to specify the order in which to run the rule when there are multiple rules or rulesets.

    4. Repeat step 3c for each business rule listed in the table.

    5. Click Save.

Updating the Consol_FxRate_BudAct Integration

From the Consol_FxRate_BudAct data integration, remove the following business rules:

To update the business rules of data integrations:

  1. From the Planning and Budgeting Home page, click Application and then Data Exchange.

  2. Click the Data Integration tab.

  3. Under the Name column, click the link for Consol_FxRate_BudAct.

    1. The Edit Integration: Consol_FxRate_BudAct window appears. Click the Options tab.

    2. Click the Business Rules subtab.

    3. Click Embedded to expand the options.

    4. To remove a business rule, select the business rule, and then click the Delete icon Delete icon.

      Remove the following business rules:

      • NFS_CConv_CashFlow_Actual

      • NFS_CConv_CashFlow_Forecast

      • NFS_CConv_Fx Rates Copy

      • NFS_CConv_Plan_Actual

      • NFS_CConv_Plan_Forecast

      • NFS_BS_Forecast_Calc

    5. Click Save.
