Processing Accounts Payable Payments for Brazil

After you create transactions that you intend to pay through banking integration, you can process them for accounts payable automation.

Processing your accounts payable payments with the Brazil Banking Integration SuiteApp enables you to:

To process accounts payable payments for Brazil:

  1. Go to Transactions > Bank > A/P Automation for Brazil.

    The Accounts Payable Automation for Brazil page opens.

  2. Define the criteria to search for transactions and installments eligible for accounts payable automation:

    1. In the Subsidiary field, select the subsidiary for which you want to process payments.

    2. To search transactions or installments involving a specific vendor or employee, in the Vendor or Employee field, enter at least the first three letters of the vendor or employee's name and select it from the list.

    3. In the Period field, select the start and end date of the transactions or installments for which you want to process payments.

      NetSuite first searches the transactions and installments by their due date. If the transactions don't have due dates, the system looks for the transaction dates.

    4. In the Number of Results per Page field, select the maximum number of transactions or installments you want NetSuite to display per page.

      By default, NetSuite shows 100 results at a time.

  3. Define the payment information.

    1. In the Bank Account Details field, select the bank account you want to use to process payments.

    2. In the Type of Operation field, select Payable Creation.

    3. In the Payment Method field, select Boleto com Integração Bancária.

    4. To define a specific payment date for all the listed transactions or installments, in the Scheduled Payment Date field, select a date.

      If you leave this field blank, NetSuite sets the due date of each transaction or installment as the payment date.

  4. Click Search.

    NetSuite lists the eligible transactions and installments.

  5. On the table, check the box next to each transaction or installment you want to process.

    Tip:

    To select all the transactions and installments listed on a page, check the box on the table header.

  6. To change the payment dates, do the following:

    • To change the payment date of an individual transaction or installment, in the Payment Date column, select a different date.

    • To change the payment date of the selected transactions or installments:

      1. In the Scheduled Payment Date field, select a date.

      2. Click Apply to Selected.

        NetSuite changes the payment date of the selected transactions and installments.

  7. To add or edit fine and interest amounts for late payments, do the following:

    1. Find the transaction or installment for which you want to add or edit the fine and interest amounts.

    2. In the Fine column, enter a fine rate.

    3. In the Interest column, enter an interest rate.

    4. Click OK.

  8. Click Process.

    An A/P automation batch record opens. You can check the progress of the integration of the operations for accounts payable on this page.

  9. Refresh the page to update the Status field.

    Continue refreshing the page until the status is one of the following:

    • Pending Payment Approval

    • Integration Completed

    • Failed Integration

  10. If the status is Pending Payment Approval, wait until all approvers decide on the approval.

  11. If the status is Failed Integration, do the following:

    1. Click the Operations subtab.

    2. Review the content of the Details column of the operations with the Failed Integration status.
