Managing Warehouse and Van Locations for Field Service Management
Field Service Management (FSM) uses NetSuite Locations and Multi-Location Inventory to control where you store field inventory and which items technicians can use. You can create one warehouse for each subsidiary and a separate van location for each technician who carries inventory.
To manage locations in NetSuite for FSM, go to Setup > Company > Locations.

Check Make Inventory Available. Do not check Use Bins even if the warehouse location uses bins. Using bins adds inventory-detail and putaway work that are typically not applicable for a van. |
