Malaysia Electronic Invoicing Scope and Limitations

Consider the following scope, limitations, and best practices for using the Malaysia Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp.

The scope of the SuiteApp is:

• You can use the Malaysia Electronic Invoicing SuiteApp only for the following transactions:

  • Credit Memo

  • Cash Refund

  • Debit Note

  • Invoice

  • Vendor Bills (Self-billed Invoice)

• You can use the SuiteApp for companies in Malaysia only.

The limitations of the SuiteApp are:

• Discount or charges like shipping or handling on transaction is not supported.

• Currently only single currency is supported in a transaction.

• The maximum number of line items for invoice or credit memo transactions is limited to 800. This limit optimizes the performance, ensures efficient processing, and reduces the likelihood of any slowdowns or errors during the generation of e-documents.

• The following Item types are not supported:

  • Discounts

  • Group

  • Gift Certificate

  • Line Charge

  • Payment

  • Subtotal

• Using tax groups on invoice and credit memo is not supported.
