Adjusting Inventory Assessments

After you create an inventory assessment and generate the inventory ownership and custody report, you may realize that some information is incorrect. To adjust the quantity of any items listed in the report, create an inventory adjustment.

When you generate the EFD IPI ICMS file for the next assessment period, NetSuite includes the adjustments in the K section of the file.

To adjust an inventory assessment:

  1. Go to Reports > Brazil Reports > Inventory Assessment.

  2. Click View next to the inventory assessment record you want to adjust.

    The inventory assessment record opens.

  3. Click Adjust Inventory.

    A new inventory adjustment record opens in edit mode.

  4. Enter the information about the adjustment.

  5. Click Save.

    You don't need to generate the inventory ownership and custody report again after adjusting the inventory.
