Setting the Tax Registration Number and Nexus for your Customer/Vendor

In order to successfully generate the SII reports in the Spain Localization SuiteApp, you need to set a tax registration number and nexus for your customers/vendors.

To set the tax registration number and nexus for your customer/vendor:

  1. Go to Lists > Relationships > Customers/Vendors.

  2. From the list, click on the customer/vendor, for which you want to set the tax registration number and nexus.

  3. On the Customer/Vendor page, click Edit.

  4. Click on the Financial subtab.

  5. On the Tax Registrations subtab, click on the blank space under the Tax Reg. Number table column header. Clicking activates the editing mode of the table and enables you to enter the number.

  6. Fill in a valid tax registration number for your customer/vendor.

  7. On the Tax Registrations subtab, click on the blank space under the Nexus table column header. Clicking activates the editing mode of the table and enables you to enter the nexus.

  8. In the menu, select a nexus for your customer/vendor.

    Note:

    The menu options correspond to existing nexuses that you set in your account. If you don't see your preferred option, you'll need to set up a new nexus. For more information, see Setting Up Nexuses in SuiteTax.

  9. Click OK.

  10. Click Save.
