Other Settings

Important:

Access to the Opportunities application is restricted. As communicated in the SuiteProjects Pro 2023.2 release notes, enabling the Opportunities application is no longer permitted. You can continue using the Opportunities if it is currently enabled in your account.

As an alternative to using the Opportunities module, consider using project stages to track projects through the sales cycle. For more information about project stages, see Project Stages.

There are several other settings available in the Opportunities application.

To access the Opportunities Other settings:

  1. Go to Administration > Application Settings > Opportunities > Other settings.

Allow an approver to edit a submitted proposal: This feature, when selected, permits an approver to make adjustments to a Proposal after it has been submitted.

Allow a proposal to be associated with a deal: Enabling this feature lets you associate a proposal with a Deal. You first must have a Customer or Prospect set up. Then a Deal has to be created in the Opportunities application. You can then create a Proposal and tie it to the specific deal.

Disable editing of sent proposals: If the Proposal has been marked as Sent to the Customer or Prospect, this feature prevents editing the proposal in SuiteProjects Pro.
