Exporting SuiteProjects Pro Published Report Data to NetSuite
The functionality described in this topic requires the following feature and role permission. For more information about the features enabled for your SuiteProjects Pro account or about your role permissions, contact your account administrator.
-
Feature: Business Intelligence Connector
-
Role permission: Publish reports, in addition to NetSuite integration administration privileges.
You can export your published report data from SuiteProjects Pro to custom records in NetSuite using SuiteProjects Pro NetSuite Connector. To do so:
-
Publish SuiteProjects Pro reports with the scope (publish type) "NetSuite Connector". See Published Report Scope of Use.
-
Configure SuiteProjects Pro to refresh your published report data according to a defined schedule. See Configuring SuiteProjects Pro to Publish Reports Automatically and Refresh Published Reports Periodically.
Important:The following guidelines apply when publishing a report for export to NetSuite using SuiteProjects Pro NetSuite Connector:
-
The owner of the report must be the same account administrator as the dedicated Integration user selected on the SuiteProjects Pro NetSuite Connector Credentials tab.
-
The published report cannot be shared with others. Use the default Do not share permission setting. If you select a different permission setting, it will be reset automatically to Do not share when publishing the report.
-
The published report scope of use (Publish type) cannot be changed if the report was previously published for use with SuiteProjects Pro NetSuite Connector and a custom integration workflow to export the published report data exists.
-
-
Create a custom export workflow to export data from your SuiteProjects Pro published report to a custom record type in NetSuite. You can map your SuiteProjects Pro published report data to NetSuite custom record fields and define filters to export exactly what you need. See Custom Export Workflows.
-
Add this custom export workflow to workflow groups and include them in your scheduled integration runs. See Scheduling the Integration to Run Automatically.
After you export your SuiteProjects Pro published report data to NetSuite, you can create reports and dashboards in NetSuite to gain visibility into KPIs such as profitability and revenue forecast, combining NetSuite and SuiteProjects Pro data.
