NetSuite Communication Endpoint FAQ

Review the following frequently asked questions and answers about NetSuite communication endpoints and the endpoint upgrade:

When and why should I upgrade the NetSuite SOAP web services endpoint used by the integration?

You should plan to upgrade the integration when a new endpoint becomes available to ensure you use a supported endpoint version at all times.

The NetSuite 2020.1 endpoint is available for use in the NetSuite <> SuiteProjects Pro integration. However, NetSuite makes the NetSuite 2020.1 endpoint available without support starting with the NetSuite 2023.1 release and until the NetSuite 2026.2 release.

NetSuite supports the six latest version endpoints at any time. For example, with the 2025.1 endpoint generally available, the WSDL versions 2025.1, 2024.2, 2024.1, 2023.2, 2023.1, and 2022.2 are supported. NetSuite also makes the eight additional endpoint versions from the previous four years available without support. See Support for Existing WSDL Versions (external link to NetSuite SuiteAnswers | Answer ID: 10817).

SuiteProjects Pro periodically rotates the NetSuite SOAP web services endpoints that are available for use in the integration to include at least one endpoint that is supported by NetSuite. An older endpoint version typically continues to be available for use in the integration for some time after NetSuite ends support for that endpoint version to allow you to upgrade at your convenience.

How do I know which NetSuite endpoint is used for the integration in our SuiteProjects Pro account?

In SuiteProjects Pro, go to Administration > NetSuite Connector, click the Tips button, then NetSuite Connector administration.

If the Use 2023.1 communication endpoint box is checked, you are using the NetSuite 2023.1 SOAP web services endpoint and no action is required. Otherwise, check the box to upgrade.

Important:

You should test this integration change in sandbox NetSuite and SuiteProjects Pro accounts first.
