Configure the Oracle HCM Inbound Integration from HireRight (HCM Data Loader)

Alternatively, configure the Oracle HCM Inbound Integration from HireRight - HCM Data Loader (ORCL_HRRGHT_ALRT_INBOUND_HDL) integration flow and use the HCM Data Loader (HDL) to load the monitored and verified employee records received from HireRight to Oracle HCM Cloud.

The following high-level steps are required to configure the Oracle HCM Inbound Integration from HireRight (HDL) integration flow:

  1. Update Integration Properties
  2. Configure the Use of the Lookup Table in the Integration

Update Integration Properties

You can update the integration properties with appropriate values based on your environment and business rules.

  1. In the Integrations section, click Actions Actions icon on the ORCL_HRRGHT_ALRT_INBOUND_HDL integration flow, then select Update property values.
  2. In the Update property values panel, update the integration property with appropriate values.
    • EmailTo: This integration property holds the email address of the individual or distribution group to which error notifications are to be sent.
  3. Click Submit.

    A message confirms that the integration property has been updated successfully.

Configure the Use of the Lookup Table in the Integration

Within the integration as part of the generation of a HDL file, the existing values received from HireRight are mapped to Oracle HCM Cloud values. This is done using the lookup table configured in the recipe. See Configure the Lookup Table.

The mapping occurs within the Map to writeDATFile element.

  1. In the Integration section of the project workspace in Oracle Integration, click the Oracle HCM Inbound Integration from HireRight (HDL) integration.
  2. Click the Map to writeDATFile element, and then click Actions Actions icon and select Edit to open the mapper.
  3. On the target side of the mapping screen, expand the writeDATFile Response (Stage File) Record Set Name until the Status field is shown.
  4. Select the Status field to see the expression for the field.
    At this point, you can do one of the following, depending on your requirements:
    • Leave as is and leverage the default values of the lookup table within the integration to transform the inbound Status to reflect the values within Oracle HCM Cloud. This may require additional values to be added to the lookup table and configurations in Oracle HCM Cloud.
    • Remove the lookup table reference and simply map the values which are being returned from HireRight to the Statuses maintained in Oracle HCM Cloud To achieve this, clear the Expression box and drag the Status on the source side to the Status on the target side. Note that additional configurations may also need to be made in Oracle HCM Cloud.
