Configure IMAP Server Properties for the Email Center Download Processor

This feature streamlines configuration of IMAP server settings for the Email Center Download Processor. This functionality enables you to optimize email processing based on your volume and message size requirements.

The ability to configure IMAP properties allows  administrators to optimize email processing for their specific requirements, resulting in improved efficiency, reduced manual effort, and better alignment with organizational needs.

Steps to Enable

  • Navigate to System Administrator. 
    Select Define Profile Options.

  • Enable Partial Fetch for Large Emails
    • Locate the profile option IEM: Download Processor: Enable Partial Fetch.
    • Set the value to Yes to optimize IMAP properties for handling large emails more efficiently.
  • Configure Proxy Server Settings
    • Locate the profile option IEM: Admin: Use Proxy Server.
    • Set the value to Yes to configure IMAP properties to use the proxy server defined in the security settings.
  • Save Your Changes
    Confirm and save the updated profile option values to apply the configuration.
