Check the Log File on the Compute Nodes

The OVS agent runs on the compute nodes. After installing software, you can access the compute nodes and check the log file.

1. Search the openvswitch-agent.log for ovs to find the agent part of the Oracle Ethernet Switch ML2 Mechanism Driver.

   The presence of this file indicates that the driver is installed.

2. Check the status of the neutron-openvswitch-agent service and verify that it is running.

   service neutron-openvswitch-agent status
   

   The agent should be running without errors.
