PDF Tips

The PDF files that are included with the BEA eLink for Mainframe TCP online documentation give you the option of printing the documents. Graphics in the PDF files might not display well when viewed online.
The print driver type and properties determine the quality of the graphics in the printed PDF files. When the document is opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader, try selecting a printer that provides at least 600 dots per inch (dpi) output. If available on the print driver's property pages, select the highest quality print options.
Each PDF file includes a hyperlinked table of contents. In Adobe Acrobat Reader, click the following icon to display the document's table of contents frame:

You can also click hyperlinked cross-references to other chapters and sections within the PDF file.
A [PDF Version] hyperlink opens the PDF file in a new browser window. If a second browser window is already open, the PDF file is opened in that browser window. To return to the BEA eLink for Mainframe TCP online documentation's browser window, use Alt+Tab.
Adobe Acrobat has a maximum number of open PDF files. If you reach the maximum for your installation, you may need to close the Acrobat window that is separate from the secondary browser window before opening another PDF file.
