This bean represents any weblogic entity which can be targeted. A bean of this type does not imply that it can be deployed on a weblogic domain. For example, a module within an ear or a submodule within a JMS module. Deployments are represented by BasicDeploymentMBean.

setName

Sets the value of the Name attribute.

This method can NOT set a null value.

This method can NOT set a value of zero length.

getName

String getName()

Unique identifier for this bean instance.

getTargets

TargetMBean[] getTargets()

You must select a target on which an MBean will be deployed from this list of the targets in the current domain on which this item can be deployed. Targets must be either servers or clusters. The deployment will only occur once if deployments overlap.

Returns:: The targets value

setTargets

void setTargets(TargetMBean[] targets)

Sets the value of the Targets attribute.

Parameters:: targets - The new targets value
Throws:: InvalidAttributeValueException; DistributedManagementException

addTarget

void addTarget(TargetMBean target)

You can add a target to specify additional servers on which the deployment can be deployed. The targets must be either clusters or servers.

Parameters:: target - The feature to be added to the Target attribute
Throws:: InvalidAttributeValueException; DistributedManagementException

removeTarget

void removeTarget(TargetMBean target)
                  throws InvalidAttributeValueException,
                         DistributedManagementException

Removes the value of the Target attribute.

Parameters:: target - The target to remove
Throws:: InvalidAttributeValueException; DistributedManagementException

void setModuleType(String moduleType)

getCompatibilityName

String getCompatibilityName()

This is only set for beans created as a result of conversion from an 8.1 application configured using ApplicationMBean and ComponentMBean.

Standalone modules in 8.1 have both an ApplicationMBean name and ComponentMBean name. This attribute stores the name of the latter, to be used when the server creates the transient ComponentMBean for backward compatibility.
