The following features, enhancements, and changes related to installation and boot are introduced in this Oracle Linux 9 release.

Swap Automatically Provisioned During Installation

In the Oracle Linux 9.0 through 9.4 installation media, automatic partitioning failed to create a swap partition by default. In the 9.5 installation media, swap is created under automatic partitioning.

boom-boot Updated to 1.6.1

The boom-boot package is updated to version 1.6.1 and fixes several bugs and can now automatically repair boom boot entries that have been changed externally.
