You can configure Oracle Content and Experience with WebCenter Sites to enable the content contributors to access and use content that is managed in the Oracle Content and Experience repository. There are two ways you can configure Oracle Content and Experience: to synchronize entire content of a channel (A channel can be associated with one or more repositories), or to synchronize assets on demand. To synchronize assets on demand, you need to create an asset picker. To filter the results, you need to define optional parameters such as asset types, media groups, and keywords.

1. In the General Admin tree, expand the External Integrations node, expand the Configurations node, and then double-click Add New.
2. In the New Configuration form, enter the Name of the new Oracle Content and Experience instance that you want to configure, select the Type as Oracle Content and Experience.
3. In the Sites drop-down list, select the site for which you want to configure this Oracle Content and Experience instance.
4. In the Configuration form, enter the Base URL, Username, Password, Channel Name, Channel Id, and Channel Token.

   Fields	Description
   Base URL	Enter the Base URL of Oracle Content and Experience in this field. The base URL is that which you get after logging into the Oracle Content and Experience instance.
   Username	Enter the user name of the Oracle Content and Experience user in this field. Username should be prefixed with the domain name. For example, domain1.bob@oracle.com, where domain1 is the name of the domain. The user name is the same as that of your Oracle Content and Experience instance.
   Password	Enter the corresponding password of the Oracle Content and Experience user in this field. The password is the same as that of your Oracle Content and Experience instance.
   Channel Name	Specify the name of the Publishing Channel of your Oracle Content and Experience instance.
   Channel Token	Specify Channel Token for the Channel Name. You can obtain it from your Oracle Content and Experience instance.
   Channel Id	The Id of your Oracle Content and Experience channel. You can obtain it from your Oracle Content and Experience instance.
   Proxy Host	The host name of your proxy server.
   Proxy Port	The port number of your proxy port.

5. Click Save.
   Your Oracle Content and Experience instance is configured with WebCenter Sites and you can find the configuration details of each site reflected under the Oracle Content and Experience node in the General Admin tree tab of the Admin interface.
6. (Optional) Click Test to verify the connection between WebCenter Sites and Oracle Content and Experience.
   • If you want to synchronize entire content stored in Oracle Content and Experience in one go, click Synchronize Content.
   • To synchronize specific content (on a need basis), create an asset picker and enable it for the required fields of the Contributor interface. See Configuring Your Attribute Editor to Pick Oracle Content and Experience Assets. Embed content as described in Embed Content in Other Domains in Administering Oracle Content and Experience. Then in Oracle Content and Experience administration security settings, enable embedded content and add the Oracle Content and Experience URL.

You can integrate Oracle Content and Experience with WebCenter Sites by configuring few properties through the External Integrations node under the General Admin tree in the Admin interface.

Just like any other WebCenter Sites assets, you can publish Oracle Content and Experience assets from WebCenter Sites.

Before you start publishing any Oracle Content and Experience assets on to the production system, ensure that the production system is also configured with Oracle Content and Experience credentials (same as source system). You can mirror the Oracle Content and Experience tables (WCS_ContentCloudSubtype and ContentCloudPubTargets) from the source system to the destination system, which may be a production system.
