3.24.12.2 Edit Flat File Application

Use the Edit Target Applications page to modify the application details.

Basic Information

Click to go to Basic Information tab to edit the basic information.

Settings

Click to go to Settings tab to edit the settings information.

Apply

Click Apply to save any changes made to this page.

Cancel

Click Cancel to cancel the changes made to this page.

Basic Information

Elements Description

Application Name

Displays the name of the application.

Base Application

Displays the name of the base application that was selected.

Display Name

Enter the display name for configuration.

Description

Enter a description for the configuration you are creating.

Connector Display Name

Displays the name of the connector as shown in the connector bundle.

Parent Application Name

Select the parent application from the drop-down if its available.

Basic Configuration

This tab displays the basic configuration parameters for the Flat File connector.

 
Connector Server Name: Select the Connector Server Name.
  • Reload: Click to reload connector list after providing the Connector Server Name.

  • Search: Click to search for a Connector Server Name.

Test Connection: Click to check if the connection between the target system and the server is fine.

Advanced Settings

This tab displays the advanced settings parameters for the Flat File connector. Click Description against the parameter to view the description of the parameter.

  • flatFileLocation: Enter the flat file location.

  • Parse Headers: Click Parse Headers to list all the Field Names present in the Advanced attribute list of the flat file that is specified in the flatFileLocation field. Flat File Schema Properties section is displayed.

  • Use the Flat File Schema Properties section to create the Flat File schema by defining the below options for the Flat File Fields:

    • Attribute: Displays the name of the Flat File Field.

    • MVA: Select if the attribute is a multi value attribute.

    • Complex MVA: Click Add Attribute to create the complex multi value attribute and specify the Sub Field names.

    • Data Type: Select the data type.

    • Name: Select if the attribute has to be mapped to _Name_.

    • UID: Select if the attribute has to be mapped to _UID_.

    • Status: Select if the attribute has to be mapped to status.

    • Mandatory: Select if it is mandatory to get the value of this field from the target system. This option is selected when Name or UID is selected.

    • Delete: Click to delete the attribute.

Reconciliation Jobs

This section lists and allows you to create and modify the Reconciliation Jobs for pre-defined Job Modes for Flat File connector.

  • The supported jobs modes are:

    • Flat File Full

    • Flat File Diff Sync

    • Flat File Delete Sync

    • Flat File Entitlement

    • Flat File Delete

  • Add Job: Click Add Job to add new job. New job window is displayed.

    • Job Name: Enter name of the job.

    • Add Parameter: Click to add parameter to the job. A new column is included. You can enter value for the parameter in the Value column.

    • Description: Click to view the description of the parameter.

    • OK: Click to add the job.

    • Cancel: Click to exit the New job window without creating the job.

Jobs: Click to view details of the job.

Delete: Click to delete the job.
