View event comments for multiple products

You can view the comments for all selected products from the Header Action menu, if you added comments to product-event combinations on the Product-Event Combinations page.

  1. In the navigation pane on the left, click the Signal Review icon (Signal Review icon).
  2. On the Products table, with Select Rows mode activated and multiple products selected, click the Header Action menu (Header Action menu icon) and select View Event Comments.
  3. On the View Event Comments page, from the View comments drop-down list, select All or Most Recent.
  4. If private comments have been enabled, from the Comment type drop-down list, select Private, Public, or All.
  5. (Optional) To limit comments to a specific date range, enter a Start date, an End date, or both.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Choose one of the following links:
    • To show information about the comments, select the Show Notes link.

      The notes appear below the table and Oracle Empirica Signal includes them if you print or download table data.

    • To exclude notes, select the Hide Notes link.
    • To save comments to a topic, click the Save to Topic link.

      The comments appear as an attachment to the topic.

    • Print or download the note.
  8. To close the View Events Comments page, select Close.

Product

Name of the selected product.

Event

Name of an event that is reported in combination with the product.

Created

Date and time the comment was added.

Created by

Name of the user who added the comment.

Filtered

  • Yes, if you added the comment when the product-event combination was suppressed.
  • No, if you added a comment for a product-event combination that was not suppressed.
  • Empty (blank), for private comments (if the signal configuration has the private comments feature set up).

Comment

Comment for the product-event combination.

Private

Appears if the signal configuration has the private comments feature set up.

  • Yes, a private comment.
  • No, a public comment.

Detailed Comment

The optional free text description added with the comment. This column appears only if the Allow Case Comment/Review/Exclusion site option has been set up.
