Rules report is now available in XLSX format

Starting with Oracle Clinical One Platform 25.2, the Rules report is no longer available in CSV format. Instead, you have a new File Type option to generate the rules report in XLSX format.

The Rules report now includes a new section for designer validation rules, in addition to the custom rules that were already part of it. With the inclusion of this new section, CSV is no longer compatible as an output format, given that with CSV files you cannot make a distinction between the two separate tables. However, the XLSX format is being introduced as a replacement for CSV, to support this enhancement. In an XLSX generated output, each section is included as a separate sheet.

If you need this report in a CSV format to work with its data, an XLSX file might still be useful to you. You can open the report generated in an XLSX format using a spreadsheet editor, and then save individual sheets as CSV files.

Note:

This action only saves the sheet that is active at the time, but you can repeat the process to save multiple sheets individually using a different file name for each.

For more information about the new section in the rules report for Designer Validation rules, see the Impact on reports section in Configure predefined validation rules to raise queries.

You can find additional information about all introduced changes to the Rules report in the Reporting Guide, after the Release Assessment Environment (RAE) upgrade.
