New Blinded Kits dataset in Oracle Clinical One Analytics

Blinded users can now work with the new Blinded Kits dataset in Oracle Clinical One Analytics.

Particularly useful to clinical supply managers, the Blinded Kits dataset allows users to create blinded custom reports based on kit-related data collected within Oracle Clinical One Platform. This way, sponsor users with appropriate permissions can track shipments, lots, and kit statuses within their studies without unblinding risk.

Details for user administrators and global user managers

A new permission, Run the Blinded Kits Dataset, has been added to grant access to the Blinded Kits dataset. As a user administrator or global user manager, you can assign this permission to any sponsor user who must have the ability to work with this dataset in Oracle Clinical One Analytics. This new permission is included, by default, in the following predefined template study roles:
  • Clinical Supply Manager
  • View Only for Blinded Support Users
  • Study Manager

The Blinded Kits dataset contains additional study metadata about, sites, depots, and kits. Not only does this allow you to control your supply system better, but it also provides the opportunity to answer numerous questions related to supply elements within your studies while remaining blinded. For example, you can build blinded custom reports and visualizations to get insights on kit inventory statuses, shipments, kit dispensation, lots, and so much more.

Remember that to properly visualize data when working with any dataset, you must include at least one element from the folder listed as required. When working with the Blinded Kits dataset, include data elements from the Kits (required) folder on your custom reports and start analyzing your study's supply system data.

You can find additional information regarding the Blinded Kits dataset, and its data elements, in the Analytics User Guide after the Release Assessment Environment (RAE) upgrade.
