Configuring Preference Groups

Adding Preference Groups

Note:

Preference group codes can be a maximum of 10 alpha-numeric characters.
  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Preference Groups.

  2. Click New and complete the following fields:
    1. Code: Enter a code to identify the preference group.

    2. Description: Enter a description for the preference group.

    3. Quantity: Enter the maximum number of items that may be selected when choosing preferences from the preference group.

    4. Sequence: Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned. 

    5. Reservation: Select check box to enable this preference group and associated preferences when selecting the reservation Preferences field. Users are prompted to update the preferences to the linked profile.

  3. Click Save or click Save and Continue to save and add another.

Editing Preference Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Preference Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. Select the preference group in the search result, then vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Edit.

  4. Update the configuration.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting Preference Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, select Profile Management, and then select Preference Groups.

  2. Select or confirm the Property.

  3. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  4. Select the preference group in the search result, then vertical ellipsis Actions menu and select Delete.

  5. Click Delete to confirm.
