Preference groups are used to categorized the various preferences selected in a profile or reservation. You can create  preference groups for guest preferences such as Pillow, Music or Newspaper, as well as the various preferences associated with each of these preference groups.

For each preference group it is possible to specify the maximum Quantity of preferences that can be selected in a profile or reservation. For example, you could restrict the Smoking preference group to only one preference (either smoking or non-smoking) , but allow several floors to be selected for the Floors preference group.

The following preference groups are seeded on provisioning of your chain.
