Transaction Management
Transaction Management utilities provides control over transaction codes. You can assign new transaction codes to existing transaction codes, move transaction codes to new subgroups, and update transaction code ownership from property ownership to central ownership and vice versa. In a multi-property environment, you can generate template records based on property transaction code records.

Changing Transaction Codes
The Change Code Utility enables you to assign a new transaction code number to an existing transaction code.
This process may require significant time to run depending on the volume of financial data to be updated.

From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Transaction Management and then select Change Code.

Property: Enter or select the property.

Click New.
-
Transaction Code: Select a transaction code the from list

New Transaction Code: Enter a new (non-existing) transaction code.

Click New to add another row.
-
Click Delete to remove a row.
-
Click Delete to confirm
-

When ready to process, click Change Code.
-
Update progress is indicated; click OK to close.

Click Status to display progress.

Changing Subgroup
The Change Subgroup utility allows you to modify the Subgroup selected on one or more transaction code(s).

From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Transaction Management and then select Change Subgroup.

Property: Enter or select the property.

Click New.

Transaction Code: Select a transaction code the from list

New Subgroup: Select a subgroup for the transaction code.

Click New to add another row.
-
Click Delete to remove a row.

Click Delete to confirm

When ready to process, click Change Subgroup.

Update progress is indicated; click OK to close.

Click Status to display progress.

Copying Transaction Groups to Template
The Group to Template utility allows you to copy Transaction Groups from a property to the template in multi-property operations.

From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Transaction Management and then select Group Template.

From the Vertical Ellipsis, click Copy to Template.

Source Property: Enter or select the source property.

Transaction Groups: Select one or more transaction groups from the list.

Click Save.
-
Review and click Copy and Continue.

Confirmation panel will display result of the copy; click Print to generate a report in new window.

Copying Transaction Subgroups to Template
The Subgroup (to) Template utility allows you to copy Transaction Subgroups from a property to the template in multi-property operations.

From the Toolbox menu, select Utilities, select Transaction Management and then select Subgroup Template.

From the Vertical Ellipsis, click Copy to Template.

Source Property: Enter or select the source property.

Transaction Subgroups: Select one or more transaction groups from the list.

Click Save.

Review and click Copy and Continue.

The Transaction Code (to) Template utility allows you to copy Transaction Codes from a property to the template in multi-property operations.
