Deleting Configuration Data and Open Checks

Simphony 19.10 and higher allows operators to continue working with transactions containing the following deleted configuration data.

  • Menu Item Masters

  • Menu Item Definitions

  • Menu Item Prices

  • Menu Item Classes

  • Discounts

  • Service Charges

  • Tender/Media

  • Employees

  • Operators

For the purpose of this table, a "deleted menu item" means an item that is made non-orderable by deleting its master, definition, price, or class.

Discounts apply if the menu item is deleted, but not if the discount definition is deleted. If an auto discount is permanently applied, it remains after the discount definition is deleted.

Check transfer across revenue centers

Checks can be transferred to revenue centers that do not contain all the definitions. Items that do not exist in the destination revenue center are treated as if deleted.
