If you are unsure how your scanner is configured or you’ve changed options and want to restore the scanner to factory default settings, first scan the Remove Custom Defaults barcode, and then scan Activate Defaults. This resets the scanner to the factory default settings, which will configure the scanner as a USB Serial Scanner (COM3) and remove the <CR> that is normally added to the suffix of all barcode scans for Simphony compatibility.
