Noteworthy Enhancements

This guide outlines the information you need to know about new or improved functionality in the Oracle CrowdTwist Loyalty and Engagement update and describes any tasks you might need to perform for the update. Each section includes a brief description of the feature, the steps you need to take to enable or begin using the feature, tips or considerations that you should keep in mind, and the resources available to help you.

Column Definitions

  • Feature: Provides a description of the feature being delivered.

  • Module Impacted: Identifies the module associated with the feature, if any.

  • Scale: Identifies the size of the feature. Options are:

    • Small: These UI or process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.

    • Large: These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.

  • Delivered: Is the new feature available for use immediately after upgrade or must the feature be enabled or configured? If no, the feature is non-disruptive to end users and action is required (detailed steps below) to make the feature ready to use.

  • Customer Action Required: You must take action before these features can be used. These features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them.

Unuse Coupon API

The Unuse Coupon API allows clients to mark previously-used coupon codes as available for use again. This allows for the reissuing of a used coupon, in the event of several scenarios such as returns, cancelled orders, etc.

See Unuse Coupon for more information.

Data

Multiple Data Export Destinations

You can now configure your Oracle CrowdTwist Data Exports to deliver to more than one SFTP destination. SFTP export destinations must first be added to the CrowdTwist Integration Hub, which will then enable the desired export location(s) to be selected when creating or editing a Data Export.

This image displays the Export Locations screen with the SFTP checkbox marked and the available location options listed.

Reporting

Purchase Report Enhancement

Time series visuals for Total Order Count and Average Order Value have been added as accompanying Non-Member values for reporting.

This image displays the Total Order Count and Average Order value dot graphs for Purchase reporting.

Reporting Suite Enhancements

By default, reports automatically exclude inactive & deleted members via the Account Is Active dashboard filter.

Time series visuals now include inner tiles representing the aggregate sum of the displayed metric for the user defined time period.

This image displays the Points Issued line graph in the Reporting Suite.

Widgets

Multiple Widget Domains

If your loyalty program spans multiple domains – such as company.com and company.eu – you can now configure your Oracle CrowdTwist instance to display first-party widgets on each unique domain. Widgets can be used on multiple client domains.

To configure additional domain names, contact your Oracle Representative or Oracle Support. After configuration, you can view widget details and also generate the DIV tag for any of your preconfigured domain names.

This image displays the Program URL drop down field and corresponding widget details for that url.
