1.26.1 Create Record

This topic describes the systematic instructions for configuring the minimum and maximum limits on records for each data segment.

  1. From Home screen, click Party Services. Under Party Services, click Maintenance.
  2. Under Maintenance, click Record Management Maintenance. Under Record Management , click Create Record.
    The Create Record screen is displayed.
  3. Specify the fields on the Create Record screen.
    For more information on fields, refer to the field description table.

    Note:

    The fields marked as Required are mandatory.

    Field Name Description
    Party Type Select the party type from the drop-down list.
    The available options are:
    • Retail
    • Small Medium Business
    Entity Code Specify the entity code from the drop-down list.
    The available options are:
    • ATY
    • CSE
    • CSY
    • ITY
    Note:
    • Entity Code of the Record Type as configured in Entity Maintenance for Address, Contact and ID Details Data Segment.
    • The ID details or ITY entity code is not supported for Small and Medium Business parties.
    Entity Description Displays the entity description of the Record Type as configured in Entity Maintenance for Address, Contact and ID Details Data Segment.
    Sub Entity Code Specify the Sub-Entity Code of the Record Type as configured in Entity Maintenance for Address, Contact and ID Details Data Segment.
    Sub Entity Description Displays the Sub-Entity Description of the Record Type as configured in Entity Maintenance for Address, Contact and ID Details Data Segment.
    Limit Enable Click the toggle status to enable limits on number of record.
    Minimum Number of Records Specify the minimum number of records required for the selected Sub-Entity Code.
    Maximum Number of Records Specify the maximum number of records required for the selected Sub-Entity Code.

    Note:

    • Each sub-entity code can have only one record.
    • Minimum/Maximum number of records should not accept a negative value.
    • Minimum can be greater than or equal to Zero. In case of Zero, the record type will be treated a Optional
    • Maximum can be greater than or equal to 1. Maximum Number of Records should be grater than Minimum Number of Records.
    • The minimum and maximum number of records fields are only active when the Limit Enable flag is enabled
  4. Perform one of the following action:
    • Click Save to save the Record Management details.
    • Click Cancel to discard the changes and close the screen.
