Creating a DocuSign ESignature Configuration
Introduction
Communication Cloud Service currently supports DocuSign ESignature as ESignature supplier service. Communication Distribution DocuSign ESignature configuration enables you to integrate with the Supplier Service to distribute the communication (PDF document) for ESignature to the correct recipient. The Operation Company Supplier Service enables you to capture Supplier Service interaction configuration, like credentials.
Prerequisites
Following are the prerequisites to consider before creating a DocuSign ESignature configuration.

Ensure that you complete the prerequisite before proceeding.Prerequisites | Details |

Set the Config ID | Config ID must be Active.
Ensure all dependent configurations and associations are part of the same open Config ID. See Creating Config ID. |
Configure Entitlements | Ensure that you have the required entitlements to create a DocuSign ESignature configuration.

Create Marketing Company configuration | Ensure that you have created the Marketing Company configuration that needs to be associated to the DocuSign ESignature configuration. See Creating Marketing Company for more details. |
Create Operations Company Supplier Service configuration | Ensure that you have created the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration that needs to be associated to DocuSign ESignature configuration. See Creating Operations Company Supplier Service for more information. |
Creating a DocuSign ESignature Configuration and Associating Marketing Company
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution, and then select DocuSign ESignature. This redirects you to DocuSign ESignature landing page.
- On the DocuSign ESignature landing page, select Create.
- In Basic Information section, enter the Name, Long Name, and Description (optional), to identify the DocuSign ESignature configuration.
- In Brand (Marketing Company) section, select Add Marketing Company and then select the Marketing Company that you want to associate to the DocuSign ESignature configuration.
Note:
You can associate only one Marketing Company per DocuSign ESignature configuration. - In Status section, Active Date is set to the current date when the DocuSign ESignature configuration is created. You can modify it to a future date, if required.
- Select Save to save the details and proceed to add Operations Company Supplier Service association or Save & Exit to save the details and go back to the landing page.
Associating Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration
After saving the details, the Associations section is displayed. You can associate the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration where the credentials and other required details to access the selected Supplier Service are held
To associate DocuSign ESignature configuration to a Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration, follow these steps:
- In Associations, select Add next to the Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration.
- Select the Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration that you want to associate.
Note:
You can associate only one Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration. - Select Save to save the details or Save & Exit to save the details and go back to the landing page.
Maintaining DocuSign ESignature Configuration
Introduction
You can update or delete DocuSign ESignature configuration to cater to the changing business needs. When you replace or add new associations, ensure that those configurations belong to the same Config ID that you used to create the DocuSign ESignature configuration.
If the initial Config ID used for creating DocuSign ESignature configuration, including all its associations, is closed, and if you want to edit the configuration, see Editing a Configuration after Closing the Config ID.
You can update the following information:
- Editing a DocuSign ESignature Configuration: Update the basic information of the DocuSign ESignature configuration and Active Date, replace the Marketing Company, or remove the Operations Company Supplier Service association.
- Deleting a DocuSign ESignature Configuration: Delete DocuSign ESignature configuration that you are no longer using, if the Config ID is open.
Editing a DocuSign ESignature Configuration
You can edit the basic information, Active Date, or replace the Marketing Company of DocuSign ESignature configuration. You can remove the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration from the existing DocuSign ESignature configuration.
Perform the following steps:
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select DocuSign ESignature . This redirects you to the DocuSign ESignature landing page.
- To edit the DocuSign ESignature configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective DocuSign ESignature configuration, select Edit.
- From Name column, select the DocuSign ESignature configuration name to view its Summary page. Then from Summary page, select Edit.
This redirects you to Update DocuSign ESignature page.
- Modify the information as required.
- To replace the Marketing Company, under Brand (Marketing Company) section, from More Menu in Action column, select Replace. Select a different Marketing Company belonging to the same Config ID.
- Select Save to save the changes, or Save & Exit to save the details and return to the landing page.
Deleting a DocuSign ESignature Configuration
You can delete a DocuSign ESignature configuration, if it is no longer required. Before deleting the configuration, you must ensure that the Associations are removed and initial Config ID used for the configuration creation is open.
Perform the following steps:
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select DocuSign ESignature. This redirects you to the DocuSign ESignature landing pages.
- To delete the DocuSign ESignature configuration, follow either one of these options from the respective landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective configuration, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective configuration, select Edit. This redirects you to the Update DocuSign ESignature page. From Actions on the top right corner, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
