1.2.4 Deploy Gateway/Scheduler Applications from WebLogic Administration Console

This topic provides the systematic instructions to deploy Gateway/Scheduler applications from WebLogic administration console.

To deploy the Oracle Banking Corporate Lending Gateway/Scheduler Application from the Oracle WebLogic administration console, follow the steps below:
  1. Start the Administrative Console of the WebLogic application server. Enter the Oracle WebLogic Admin Console URL in the address bar in an internet browser. For example http://10.10.10.10:1001/console

  2. Specify the WebLogic administrator user name and password and click Log In.

  3. Go to Deployments to deploy an EAR. For example: GWEJB.ear
  4. Click Lock & Edit to enable the buttons.
    This action enables the buttons.

  5. Click Install.
    The Install Application Assistant window displays.

  6. To specify the path/location of the enterprise archive file, click the link upload your file(s).
  7. Click Next.

  8. Click the Browse button to specify the EAR file path.
  9. Click Next.

  10. Select the application from the list.
  11. Click Next.

  12. Choose the targeting style Install this deployment as a library.
  13. Click Next.

  14. Select the target of the application. You can choose the server AdminServer or Managed Server(s).
  15. Click Next.

  16. Check the deployment name.
  17. Check whether the deployment location is accessible or not.

  18. Click Finish.
    The Settings for GWEJB window displays.
  19. Click Save.
    A message displays on the Settings for GWEJB screen confirming that the setting updated successfully.

  20. Click the Activate Changes on the left pane.
    The message displays on the Settings for GWEJB - Activate Changes Message window stating that All the changes have been activated. No restarts are necessary.

  21. On the left pane, click on Deployment and switch to Control tab.

  22. Click the Start drop-down button and select Servicing all requests.

  23. On the Start Application Assistant screen, click on Yes button to continue.

  24. Repeat the same steps from Deploy Oracle Banking Corporate Lending Application from WebLogic Administration Console for deploying GWWS (gateway web services), Gateway MDB and Gateway HTTP servlet.
