1.2.2 Deploy Dependency Library “Jax-RS”

This topic explains the systematic instructions to deploy the dependency library Jax-RS.

The Jax-RS library must be installed before deploying OBCL.ear. Follow the below steps:
  1. Start the Administrative Console of the WebLogic application server. Enter the Oracle WebLogic Administration Console URL in the address bar in an internet browser. For example: http://10.10.10.10:1001/console

  2. Specify the WebLogic administrator Username and Password and click Log In.

  3. Go to Deployments.
    The Summary of Deployments screen displays.

  4. Click the Install button.
    The Install Application Assistant - Installation Location window displays.

  5. Navigate and select jersey bundle under the path wlserver\common\deployable-libraries\jax-rs2.0.war and click Next.

  6. Choose the targeting style Install this deployment as a library, select target server as the managed server, and click Next.
    The Install Application Assistant - Optional Settings window displays.

  7. On the Install Application Assistant - Optional Settings click on Finish.
    This library must appear in the deployment with the Type column as Library.

    Note:

    Latest Jax-rs version will be jax-rs(2.0,2.22.1.0).
