11 Two Factor Authentication

Session Delivery Manager Release 9.0.4 supports 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) for connectivity with SBC devices. The 2FA Authentication extends beyond user name and password-based authentication to additionally support a key with passphrase.

2FA is supported on two fronts:
  1. SBC and ESBC devices that have 2FA enabled.
  2. Two-factor authentication (2FA) for logging into the SDM application.

2FA authentication enhances security by requiring you to provide a second form of verification in addition to the password. During the setup process, in the Web Server Security section, you can enable Client Authentication after selecting the HTTPS mode. The Setup script changes includes both- Typical and Custom Installations.

In order to enable 2FA authentication, import the SDM client certificate for 2FA as described here. :
