Activity Log - General View

The Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform(Oracle ECP) Activity Log General view displays controls for tracking user-triggered actions and reviewing their progress and outcomes. The page supports filtering, searching, sorting, exporting, and drill down to action details.

Unique Controls and Actions

  • Activity Log General view table—The General view displays a scrollable table (with load-more behavior on scroll). The default columns are:

    Note:

    • All columns are sortable except Summary.
    • Default sorting is by Last Reported, with the most recently reported actions at the top.
  • Additional table columns—You can display additional columns that are not shown by default, including:
    • Date Created
    • ID
    • Hardware Type
    • Activity Type
  • Filter Chips—Use filter chips to refine the table results. When you click a chip, it is added to the search field. Click a chip in the search field to select additional filter values. Chips include:
  • Search—Use the search field to narrow the list of user actions. The search field supports freeform text for device names and edge names, and accepts up to three values. Freeform search is designed to locate actions that include a specific device or edge within bulk user actions (that is, within the jobs associated with an action). Attributes that are available as filter chips are not supported as freeform search values.
  • Last updated indicator—The top-right of the page shows when the Activity Log was last updated (the page supports auto-update).
  • Download Activity Log entries (CSV)—Use the Download button to export the results based on the currently applied filters (or no filters).

    Note:

    • If the result set is 40,000 rows or fewer, the CSV download proceeds.
    • If the result set is more than 40,000 rows, the download is blocked and an error banner is displayed:
      • Primary text:Too many selected rows
      • Secondary text: Reduce the selected rows to 40,000 or fewer.

The export includes all available column headers and can include job-level rows (edges/devices that are part of each user action), such as job ID, job description, and job status.

  • Open Activity Log details from Ask Oracle (O‑Tag) notifications—When an Ask Oracle (O‑Tag) notification is associated with an onboarding/offboarding request or a user-triggered action, the notification links directly to the corresponding Activity Log details.

    Procedure

    • On an Ask Oracle page, click the relevant O‑Tag notification.
    • Review the Activity Log content that opens.

    Note:

Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform(Oracle ECP) opens the corresponding Activity Log details page for the selected notification and automatically selects the applicable Activity Log context. Use the in-flow back arrow to return to the parent page.
  • Drill down to Activity Log details—Click a value in the Summary column to open the Activity Log details page for that user action.
