14 Configuration Management for Edge Nodes
Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform (Oracle ECP) lets you manage edge node settings as one configuration instead of changing settings one page at a time across multiple pages. You can prepare a configuration template, track its revisions, and apply it to one or more compatible edge nodes when you are ready.
A configuration is the complete set of settings that Oracle ECP maintains for an edge node. In the configuration editor, Oracle ECP organizes these settings into configuration blocks. Each block groups related settings, such as general preferences, Broadband, Wi-Fi, cellular, DHCP, firewall, access control, and quality of service.
Use configuration management when you need to:
- configure many related settings in one place
- track revisions to those settings
- publish a stable version
- apply that version multiple edge nodes
This feature applies to edge nodes only.
