B Set up a Cloud Connector

After onboarding your Cloud Connector to the Oracle Enterprise Communications Platform (Oracle ECP), you must activate it to complete deployment. You can activate the Cloud Connector in one of the following ways:

Use the Oracle ECP cloud UI to initiate activation using the Zero Touch Edge Activation functionality. See Activate the Cloud Connector for more information.
Access the local UI to configure the hardware for operation on the local network and activate the Cloud Connector manually. See Log in to a Cloud Connector for the First Time for accessing the local UI and Activate the Cloud Connector Manually to activate the Cloud Connector manually.

A complete deployment requires both onboarding in the cloud UI and activation using one of the above methods. This section describes both activation approaches and the required configuration steps. Once a Cloud Connector is fully onboarded, connected, and active in Oracle ECP service, you can only manage it from the Oracle ECP cloud UI.
