Issue: Generate AHF Balance Report fails
Resolution:
-
In the Enterprise Manager menu, select Enterprise, Provision and Patching, Procedure Activity, and click the first AHFBalanceRunReport deployment procedure implementation to view errors in the procedure steps.
-
One reason the AHF Balance report generation can fail is that AHF is not able to connect to the Enterprise Manager repository. This can occur if AHF is not able to access the Oracle Instant Client libraries in the Oracle home specified by the
DATABASE_CLIENT_DIR
property. This property is defined in the install.properties file within the AHF installation directory. Verify that the value of this property is set to an Oracle home that contains the Oracle Instant Client libraries; if not, change the value to a valid Oracle home.

- The provided host credentials become invalid after the initial installation; for example, password reset, user account deleted, and so on.
- The AHF installation is manually deleted.
- The ownership or permissions on the AHF installation are changed.
Resolution: Fixing the issue requires reconfiguration of the AHF installation by a user with the EM_AHF_ADMIN role.
