11.2.10 Oracle Exadata Database Machine Eighth Rack Configuration

Oracle Exadata Database Machine Eighth Rack configuration for storage cells can be enabled and disabled using the ALTER CELL eighthRack command. No more than 6 cell disks are created on hard disks and no more than 8 cell disks are created on flash disks when using an eighth rack configuration.

Minimum software: Oracle Exadata Storage Server Software release 11.2.3.2.1
