To add, remove, copy, or rename security filters using the Essbase web interface, navigate to the cube, click Customization, and click Filters.

You can copy filters to applications and databases on any Essbase Server, according to your permissions. You can also copy filters across servers as part of application migration.

To view a list of filters using MaxL, use the display filter statement.

To edit, copy, or rename a filter using MaxL, use the create filter statement.

To delete a filter using MaxL, use the drop filter statement.
