Oracle GoldenGate for Distributed Applications and Analytics uses the Apache Kafka connection type to connect to Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK).

To create an Amazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK) connection:

1. In the navigation menu, select DB Connections.
2. Click Add Connection.
3. In Connection Alias, enter a unique name for the connection.
4. From Technology Type, select Apache Kafka.
5. Configure the connection properties required by your Amazon MSK deployment.
6. Validate the connection by using DB Login.
