Before you configure the settings here, make sure that you have created at least one OpenAI connection. See Create an OpenAI Connection for instructions on how to create the connection.

You need to configure the LLM settings before you use the Oracle Database AI Assistant to help you design your data transformations. See Oracle AI Database Assistant for more information. You also need to do this if you plan to use the Suggest annotations with AI feature to generate annotations for target tables. See View and Manage Annotations for more information about working with annotations in Data Transforms.

To configure the LLM settings:

1. In the left pane, click Administration.

   A warning message appears.

2. Click Continue.
3. In the left pane, click Settings.
4. Under LLM Settings, do the following:
   1. Select the Open AI connection that you want to use.
   2. Select the AI Model from the drop down or key in model you want to use if it is not listed here.
5. Click Save to save the AI settings.
