Customer Portal Cookies Preferences Widget
In 26A, B2C Service introduces a configurable Cookie Preferences widget for the Customer Portal (CP), making it easier for administrators to provide end users with options to review, select, and update cookie preferences directly within the portal.
With this enhancement, CP admins can configure the widget with the list and details of cookies used by their B2C Service Customer Portal site, enabling end users to conveniently set and update their cookie preferences. Admins can also add a custom cookie list so users can manage preferences for additional cookies used in their implementation. For continuous access, admins can optionally add cookie preference controls to the page footer, allowing users to update preferences at any time.
- CP Admin Configuration: Configure the widget with a list and details of cookies used by the Customer Portal site so end users can select their preferences.
- Custom Cookie Preferences: Add a custom cookies list for end users to select preferences.
- Add to Footer: Option to add cookie preference controls to the page footer for easy user access.

Example: Cookie Preferences widget configured and visible to an end user in an example Customer Portal
Business Value:
- Supports privacy compliance efforts: Provides a structured way to present cookie choices and capture user preferences within the portal experience.
- Improves customer experience and transparency: Makes it easy for end users to understand and manage cookie preferences without leaving the portal.
