Apply Charge Adjustments during Event Level Usage Rating

  • Added a new checkbox on the Balance Profile overview page "Include charge adjustments during rating".
  • Default state: ON (checked). Can only be enabled while the Balance Profile is in Draft.
  • Activates new calculation logic for specific scenarios: Allowances, Estimates, Commitments, Summarised Rating, and Volume Rating.
  • Applied during usage rating, usage re-rating (allowances), and lifecycle events (close, amend, renew).
  • Net Price = Usage Quantity * (List Price - Adjustments - Grants)
  • When enabled:
    • Ad-hoc bill adjustments on the usage charge are not allowed.
    • Ad-hoc adjustments created after activation are not considered by the rating logic.
    • Charge adjustments added after rating are not considered for that rating period.
    • Pricing Term is not considered.
