Flexible Revenue Milestone Adjustments

Introducing Flexible Revenue Milestone Adjustments: Revenue recognition percentages can now be modified at any time before the milestone completion date is set. Once completed, milestone percentages are automatically locked to ensure data integrity and audit compliance.

1. Customers can correct or adjust the revenue recognition percentage for milestones until it is completed.
2. Track and align with revenue forecast.
3. Allows you to adjust revenue recognition percentages as project scope evolves.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

1. Deletion of a revenue milestone is not allowed in Active status. The percentage can be set to 0. This has to be done before setting the Completion Date.
2. When a new revenue milestone or milestones is/are added then a validation is performed such the total of the percentages is 100.
3. Though the revenue line may not have been interfaced to Revenue Management Cloud, it is deemed interfaced when the completion date is saved.
