Email Analysis Overview Workbook

A new Email Analysis Overview out-of-the-box workbook is now available in Fusion Marketing Analytics, powered by Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), providing a consolidated, high-level view of email performance across tactics. This workbook enables marketers to quickly assess overall email effectiveness and engagement trends without building reports from scratch.

The Email Analysis Overview workbook includes pre-built visualizations for key email metrics—such as sends, opens, clicks, open and click-through rates, and bounces—along with built-in trend analysis. Interactive filtering and drill-down capabilities allow users to seamlessly move from summary insights to deeper, more detailed analysis as needed.

Steps to enable and configure

No additional setup is required to enable this feature. However, users must be assigned one of the following roles to access and view the content:

  • Marketing Analytics Viewer: Consumes reporting content in a read-only capacity. Can view and interact with existing workbooks and reports, but cannot create, edit, or customize analytics content.
  • Marketing Data Analyst: Manages advanced reporting capabilities, including the ability to create, edit, and customize workbooks and analyses using available subject areas.

Tips and considerations

How to start using the new Email Analysis Overview Workbook:

  1. Access Marketing Analytics: Use the navigation menu option "Marketing Analytics" to access Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  2. Open the Email Analysis Overview Workbook: From the OAC home page, locate and open the Email Analysis Overview workbook under shard out-of-the-box content. 
  3. Explore: Review key email KPIs, trend charts, and summary views. Use filters such as date range, email, or other available attributes to focus on specific areas of interest.
  4. Customize as Needed: Modify visualizations, add filters, or create additional views to align with your reporting requirements.
  5. Share Insights: Share workbook with stakeholders or schedule regular report delivery to keep teams aligned on email performance
