My Access Certification Task management
Use My Access Certification Tasks to complete work assigned to you during an access certification campaign. Access certifications help organizations review whether users should retain or remove assigned role access.
The workbench brings together certification, review, and approval tasks assigned to you. It shows the number of tasks requiring your action and the current stage for each task. Review and approval tasks appear when you’re assigned to those campaign stages.
Campaigns can use sequential or parallel review workflows:
- In sequential workflows, reviewers act in order.
- In parallel workflows, assigned reviewers can act at the same time.
Business benefit
Provide certifiers, reviewers, and approvers with a consistent place to complete assigned work and understand each task’s current stage. This improves completion visibility and supports timely, auditable access-certification decisions.
Steps to enable and configure
To navigate to this feature:
- From the Newsfeed home page, open the Risk Management application.
- In the Access Certifications module, select My Access Certification Tasks in the in-app navigation.
- Open a task to access the Certifier Worksheet.
- Review task details, record a certification response, add comments, and submit the task.
Tips and considerations
- Review and approval stages appear only when they’re configured for the campaign.
- Reopened tasks retain prior responses and comments.
- Certifiers receive an email notification when a task is reopened and can update and resubmit their response.
- The task activity log records reopen actions.
Access requirements
Access is available to users assigned as a certifier, reviewer, or approver for an access certification task.
