EC Sales List

The European Community Sales List (EC Sales List) or also known in NetSuite as EU Sales List (ESL) is a report of your company’s supplied goods and services to another EU member state.

When Tax Reporting Framework is supplemented with the EMEA Localization SuiteApp, you can generate the EC Sales List or Recapitulative Statement. To generate a report, see Generating Localized Country Tax Reports. For more information about the required SuiteApps to generate localized tax reports, see Tax Reporting Framework Localization Requirements.

When you generate the EC Sales List or Recapitulative Statement, the Country Tax Report page shows the following information:

The list of VAT-registered companies with which you have transferred or sold goods and services provides the following information:

Customer’s or buyer’s 2-letter country code

Customer’s or Buyer’s VAT Number

Customer’s or buyer’s VAT registration number without the 2-letter country code

Customer or Buyer

Name of the customer or buyer

Value of Supplies

Total value of supplies of goods or services made in the reporting period

Indicator or SL/DG

Type of supply:

  • B2B Goods (or Goods)

  • Services (or Other services)

  • Triangular transaction

The generated EC Sales List or Recapitulative Statement can be exported in a file format acceptable for online filing to the tax agency. To export the report, see Exporting a Country Tax Report.
