Create and Publish Content in Site Management Tools

Note:

Publishing content clears certain Site Management Tools related caches. For more information, see Clearing Cached Site Management Tools Content.

When you create or edit content, those changes begin as unpublished content. Publishing content makes it visible to your site visitors. You publish your content from the Unpublished Changes subtab. Click the Review & Publish Changes icon Review and Publish Changes Icon on the site management toolbar to review your unpublished changes. You can select multiple pieces of content and publish them right away. You can also schedule content to publish at a specific date and time. Note:

If you publish content with a future start date, it'll automatically be visible when that date occurs. If you didn't set a start date, or it's in the past, the content is visible immediately.

To create and publish content in Site Management Tools:

  1. Log in to Site Management Tools. For details, see Logging into Site Management Tools.

  2. Click the Review & Publish Changes icon Review and Publish Changes Icon on the site management toolbar.

  3. From the unpublished changes list, select the content you want to publish.

  4. Click Publish.
