Campaign Checklist

There are several steps to creating your marketing campaign. You should complete these to maximize your ability to report on your campaign,

To create a marketing campaign:

  1. Read the Optimizing Email Campaigns for help in optimizing the delivery rate of your marketing emails.

  2. For email campaigns, create a template and a template record.

  3. Create target group of customers or contacts. For more information, see Working with Records, Transactions, and Lists.

    For tips on creating target groups for email campaigns, see Choosing Email Recipients.

  4. Create a campaign record.

    For more information, see Creating a Campaign Record.

  5. Execute your campaign.

    For more information, see Initiating Campaign Events.

After the campaign record is created and executed, you can view reports and statistics on your campaign events.
